SUMMARY:Hand in Hand Disabled Persons Platform Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Reading is the privilege of uninterrupted communication. It all
 ows us to hear another person's thoughts without being hindered by time\, p
 lace\, status\, or appearance. A person waits in a boat on a lake of though
 ts\, the depth of which is unknown. It has neither waves like the sea nor t
 he ability to swim like a fish\, and it has neither oars nor a motor. Only 
 another thought can end this troublesome waiting. Within the Hand in Hand D
 isabled Persons Platform\, we encourage each other to read by providing som
 e with oars and others with boats\, adding a bit of movement to our stagnan
 t and boring thought lake.\n\nWe aim to read and finish one book every mont
 h. The books we have planned include "Sırça Köşk" by Sabahattin Ali\, "
 The Child Within Us" by Doğan Cüceloğlu\, "The Five Love Languages" by G
 ary Chapman\, and this month's read "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. 
 Upcoming books are "In the Land of White Lilies" by Gregory Petrov and "The
  Education of Willpower" by Jules Payot. The first three books have been re
 ad and discussed as planned. This pattern will continue.\n\nWe have chosen 
 books from various genres that everyone will enjoy and that are also availa
 ble as audiobooks accessible to visually impaired individuals. Since Decemb
 er\, we have been discussing these books over Zoom. Our book club meetings 
 are held in a democratic and sincere atmosphere. We invite all book lovers 
 to join our book club\, hoping that future meetings will continue in the sa
 me vein.\n\nYou can watch the recordings of our meetings on the following l
 inks:\n\n\n\nThese events are the result of the efforts of Hand in Hand Dis
 abled Persons Platform volunteers. On behalf of my friends\, I would like t
